INDIANAPOLIS – Fans returning to Gainbridge Fieldhouse this Pacers season will be treated to a new array of food and beverage offerings, checkout-free concession stands, and fare from local restaurants, Pacers Sports & Entertainment announced today. Tuesday morning, media had the opportunity to sample foods from the new concessions stands and received a demonstration of the touchless technology at one of the Fieldhouse’s new Fast Break grab-n-go locations, the first of its kind in any Indianapolis venue.
“One aspect of the Fieldhouse of the Future is a premium for all environment where generations of fans can have memorable and unique experiences within the experience of being at an event, and the new food options and state-of-the-art technology at concessions delivers on that promise,” said Rick Fuson, PS&E President and Chief Operating Officer. “The new culinary experience at the Fieldhouse enhances this world-class venue, and we think fans will be excited about all we have to offer.”
At Tuesday’s event, PS&E announced:
- Fast Break grab-n-go concession stands: These checkout-free, self-service concession areas, powered by Zippin technology, allow guests to enter using their credit cards or mobile wallets, remove their selections from the shelves, and be billed automatically upon exiting. This enables both a lower-contact and quicker experience when making purchases, including beer and hard seltzer.
- New upgraded concession stands throughout the Main Concourse and Krieg DeVault Levels: These include
- Three Point Taqueria: Authentic dishes including Carne Asada Nachos, Vegan Sausage and Potato Tacos, and Crispy Cinnamon Wheels in section 115.
- Warehouse District BBQ: Southern traditions including House Made Chips with Pimento Cheese Dip, Donut Holes, Smoked Pork Sandwiches and more in section 15.
- Delaware St. Pizzeria: Homemade Italian favorites such as Margarita Pizza, Truffle Parm Pretzel Bites and Meatball sandwiches in section 106.
- Boom Baby! Burgers: Upscale comfort foods such as Bavarian Pretzels, Chicken Sandwiches, and rotating burgers including a Dill Pickle Burger, Bacon Pimento Cheeseburger and Fried Onion Burger in section 117.
