2022 IHSAA Boys Basketball State Finals
Presented by Indiana Pacers & Fever
Date: Saturday, March 26, 2022.
Site: Gainbridge Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis.
Session 1
- 9:30 - Doors open
- 1A 10:30 - North Daviess vs. Lafayette Central Catholic
- 2A - Providence vs. Central Noble
Session 2
- 5:30 - Doors open
- 3A - Beech Grove vs. Mishawaka Marian
- 4A - Indianapolis Cathedral vs. Chesterton
Fieldhouse Health & Safety Guidelines
Admission: $15 per session (two games).
Home Team: The winners of the north semi-states will be the designated home teams.
Official Basketball: The Wilson Evolution Wide Channel (B0506), the official ball of the IHSAA state tournament, will be used.
Television: All four state championship games will air live on Bally Sports Indiana (rebranded from Fox Sports Indiana) (BSIN). Also, South Bend’s WHME Channel 46 will carry Saturday’s games for viewers in the Michiana area.
Webstream: For viewers outside of the Bally Sports Indiana (BSIN) coverage area, a live stream will be available at IHSAAtv.org. For those within the BSIN coverage area, the stream will be available only on delayed basis following the conclusion of the telecast.
Radio: Each game will be broadcast on affiliates of the IHSAA Champions Network.
Restrictions
Principals should inform all of the following tourney restrictions:
A. No publications, brochures, fliers, etc. of any kind, whether for sale or free-of-charge, are to be distributed at IHSAA tournament events without prior approval from the IHSAA.
B. Balloons, banners and/or posters, etc. are not permitted.
C. Cowbells and other such noise devices, banners, shakers on sticks, signs, posters, etc., are not permitted.
D. No live animal mascots are permitted.
E. Line-up lanes of fans shall not be permitted on the playing floor at any time.
F. Audio/video devices are not permitted on the playing floor.
G. The throwing of articles, including toilet tissue, is not allowed.
It shall be the responsibility of each high school principal to see that the above restrictions are enforced.
*The use of high school pep bands at this IHSAA tourney is permitted.

What to Know Before You Go
- Bags, backpacks, large purses are prohibited. Small clutch-style purses are allowed and may not be larger than 6”x9”x1.5”
- Management discretion is allowed for diaper bags and medical bags
- No Professional Cameras or Detachable Lenses. No IPads, Tablets, Selfie sticks, GoPro’s
- No signs larger than 11"x17" are permitted at this event.

Prohibited Items
We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light.
For your safety guests are subject to visual inspection (including the use of metal detecting magnetometers) of person, parcels, bags, containers and/or clothing capable of concealing prohibited items. Guests may refuse inspections; however, management reserves the right to refuse entry.
For safety reasons, prohibited items include but are not limited to:
- Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances, or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
- Audio/Video recorders, professional cameras, tripods
- Backpacks
- Bags larger than 6”x9”x1.5”
- Beach balls or any projectiles or missiles
- Cans, bottles, coolers, or other similar containers
- Clothing that displays obscene/offensive language and/or pictures (as determined by Gainbridge Fieldhouse management)
- Drones
- Fireworks
- Hard-sided bags
- Laser pens/pointers of any type
- Military or Tactical style clothing/gear (Active Duty Military uniforms are allowed)
- Noisemakers such as air horns
- Objects that obstruct another guest’s view of the playing/performance surface
- Outside food or drinks
- Pepper spray/Mace
- Poles or sticks
- Signs, flags, banners larger 11″X17″ or affixed to any pole
- Skateboards/roller blades
- Tripods, mono pods, or selfie sticks
- Weapons of any type, including chains, knives, firearms, and spiked jewelry
- Any other item deemed unacceptable by event/building management
If an item is revealed during a search, guests may dispose of the item or return the item to a safe storage location away from the Fieldhouse.
COVID-19 Info
If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have reason to believe that you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus then do not enter Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
